The Three Lochs Classic has been running in its current form since 2004. Every year the parade of cars ranging from a 1904 Model T Ford to 1982 VW Golf GTi have set off from the Royal Northern and Clyde Yacht Club near Helensburgh and toured the local area taking in some spectacular views and enjoying the delights of driving on some single track roads.
The highlight for many is the opportunity to drive up the old Rest and be Thankful, and this please is now further enhanced following the recent work carried out by the Scottish Government to resurface it to enable it to be used as a relief road.
After the morning drive in the country, participants return to the start venue for lunch, followed by a Concours D'Elegance. There is also a fun motoring quiz leading to the awarding of Diplomas from the Automotive University of Rhu.
The event is run under the regulations of the Motor Sports Association and Regulations and Entry Forms will be published closer to the event. These are available for download from this website.
